Replace Chiller Fluid

Every 6 months

-Quit Spectra on the laser computer with the Shutdown option.

-Flip the orange switch off on the floor unit.

-Insert the red hose into the white plastic tank, place a waste container under the free end of the hose, and unscrew the cap to empty the old fluid.

-Turn the circulation off (black switch) and on a couple of times to make sure all liquid is gone.

-Flip the black switch off. Unscrew the filter from the back of the floor unit (black cylinder) and rinse it in the sink. Screw the clean filter back in place.

-Fill the white plastic tank with new chiller fluid up to the second line. Turn the black switch on and add more fluid up to the second line.

-Verify that there are no leaks in the filter in the back.

-Turn the orange switch back on.

Clean Chiller Water Filter

Every year

-Close the GUI, and choose the shut down option

-Turn off the power supply

-Turn off the chiller

-Disconnect the hose with the filter attached from the chiller and the laser head

-With the filter assembly over a bucket, unscrew the filter assembly

-Rinse the mesh filter underwater

-If needed, wash the mesh in the ultrasonic cleaner

-Replace the mesh filter into the filter assembly

-Screw the filter assembly back together

-Plug the hose back into the chiller and laser head

-Turn on the chiller and check for leaks

-Turn on the power supply
